Share HTML from ChatGPT after Canvas was removed
Save the code block as an HTML file and upload it to pochit to get a share link. ChatGPT has no way to publish HTML, and a shared chat link only shows the code.
Save it as a file and publish
- Save the codeCopy the whole HTML code block and save it as a file ending in .html. If you ask ChatGPT to put everything in a single HTML file, you can publish it as is.
- Sign in to pochitSign in with your Google account. Only the person publishing needs an account.
- Choose the file and publishPick how long it stays online (1 / 7 / 30 days) and add a password if you need one. The page is deleted automatically when it expires.
- Send the share linkAnyone can open it without signing in. Slack, Discord, and most chat apps show it as a link preview.
Has ChatGPT removed Canvas? Can it still publish HTML?
Canvas, which had a live HTML preview and public links, has been removed, and ChatGPT can't take an HTML file and turn it into a public link. You can share a link to the chat, but people will see the code and the conversation, not a working page.
